Within the chart there is the option to choose between seeing past performance over 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years.
If the client is invested in many funds but one of the funds does not have 12 months past performance data, then the graph will only show the past performance for the available months based on the youngest fund.
In the example below the Morgan Stanly Global Insight I Acc started on 4th May 2021, so even though 2 years of past performance data has been asked for it can only start from 4th May 2021:
